31 Days of Proverbs: Chapters 10-16

For chapters 10-16, I'd like to share some of my favorite scriptures.

Chapter 10
"Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth." - Proverbs 10:4
"Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs." - Proverbs 10:12
"The fear of the Lord adds length to life, but the years of the wicked are cut short." - Proverbs 10:27

Chapter 11
"Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death." - Proverbs 11:4
"For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers." - Proverbs 11:14
"A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed." - Proverbs 11:25

Chapter 12
"Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid." - Proverbs 12:1
"The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice." - Proverbs 12:15
"Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up." - Proverbs 12:25

Chapter 13
"One person pretends to be rich, yet has nothing; another pretends to be poor, yet has great wealth." - Proverbs 13:7
"Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life." - Proverbs 13:12
"A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous." - Proverbs 13:22

Chapter 14
"The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down." - Proverbs 14:1
"There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death." - Proverbs 14:12
"All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty." - Proverbs 14:23

Chapter 15
"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." - Proverbs 15:1
"The Lord detests the way of the wicked, but he loves those who pursue righteousness." - Proverbs 15:9
"The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous." - Proverbs 15:29

Chapter 16
"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans." - Proverbs 16:3
"Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall."- Proverbs 16:18
"There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death." - Proverbs 16:25
